Raven hovered quiet slowly over the many sky scraping buildings. Held between her thumb and index finger was a small thick book with nothing but a black cover. The words were tiny and one such as Beast Boy would glance at it and not look back.
But the pages held so much knowledge. So much knowledge, and yet, still the information wasn't but an unending list. The author took raw facts and added his own personality to it. By reading but the first chapter Raven could see through his emotions, the two were not so different. But the book was authored by a long dead Azrathian, so the girl took no notice after that.
Odd it was that Raven's hood was not pulled around her face, and now her purple hair was tossed by the breeze. Suddenly, as if by spell, reflex, or awareness, the girl's airborn path halted. Peeking over the tip of the pages, Raven looked at the little Pizza Parlor that was so famous within the Titans. Turning a fresh page, the Azrathian teen gave a single glance to the number in the bottom corner and it was memorized.
The hard cover floated gracefully into the air and manuvered to the insides of her cloak, guided by Raven's pale hand. By now, her feet touched down on the second floor of the place, the acute triangular balcony. Gliding centimeters over the ground, Raven slide over to the farthest table, their usual spot. Looking around with not an emotion tainting her face but boredom, the teenage girl sighed before sitting.

In the darkened gallery, silent save for the whirring of machines and the clanking of gears, the shadowed figure sat alone, watching the bank of monitors on the wall before him. Only the glare from the screens shed light into the room, illuminating his halved face, one blue eye piercing through the slit on the orange left side of his mask.
Upon the monitor, fed through a traffic security cam located across the street from the Jump City pizza place, he viewed the customers. Raven, dressed in her usually dark dressings, purple hair straight as an arrow as usual, sat alone with her back to the camera. Absentmindedly, he ran his hand across his forehead, reminding himself of the psychic scars he still bore due to her demonic father. Trigon had sent him through hell and back, but now that he was back, he intended to stay here. He growled slightly to himself, but immediately regained his composure. he could wait before seeking vengeance against the demon's daughter. She was not his quarry this day.
Across the upstairs patio, near the doors into the pizza parlor, sat his interest. Slade had watched as Red X had entered, he had watched through security and traffic cams as the boy had wandered all over town, before settling here for a meal. Red X had departed before his training was complete, and now bore a hatred of Slade. This was a good thing. It gave the boy more fuel, more passion, more reason to better himself. Slade could live with this, but that did not mean he would not aid Re X in his 'training'.
Speaking quietly, his voice deep and confident, he sent his orders into the darkness. Across the street from the pizza parlor, in an alleyway, the behemoth stood, shaking off the trashbags and refuse that had covered him for so many nights while he waited. "Cinderblock," Slade spoke, "It is time. Carry out your mission."
Cinderblock grunted a response, sounding like two slabs of stone beig rubbed together. Hefting the nearest dumpster over his head, he hurled it across the street, with deadly accuracy toward the pizza shop balcony where a young blonde girl watched, frozen in fear at the oncoming projectile.
"Your move, children," Slade laughed as he sat back to enjoy the show.

Scott heared it before he saw it and move in a second as he pushed the girl out of the way he turned and jumped up ofer the dumpster before it took him out itself. Landing on his feet he smiled as he dusted himself off and helped the girl to his feet as he did he looked at the stone baheamoth looking up at him from the alley way Scott just grined and shoted at the thing, "You missed aim better you might hit soem thing next time." He grined as he looked over at the girl he winked and walked away.
As he walked around a corner he hit his belt and teleported right behind Cynderbloak and his suit was now on Red X stood there and he growled, "Nice try brains for bricks but you suck as much as you smell." Kicking the thing he laughed as Cynderblock stumbled out of the alley only to be smacked hard by a on coming bus.
